About Us
Kutz Fabricating is a privately held Pittsburgh based company, originally established in 1937. Conveniently located in the Windgap Industrial Park we are approximately 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh located in the McKees Rocks area.
We have a rich history in the Pittsburgh area including supporting our country making artillery components during WWII.
Our team of skilled fabricators includes certified welders who work with common steel and special alloys. We fabricate oxidizers, tanks, ductwork, platforms, ladders and much more. In addition to our fabrication capabilities we provide pre-piped and pre-wired modular process skids to your exact technical requirements.
Capabilities
Waterjet Cutting
We have two precision abrasive water jets, giving us the ability to cut a wide range of thicknesses and materials, including metal, wood, plastic, foam, glass and ceramics. We provide cutting services for single prototype parts and high-volume orders. If your material can get wet, we can probably cut it.
Fabrication
We specialize in structural steel components, vessels, tanks, platforms, ladders, skids. Capable of welding a wide variety of materials including aluminum, Inconel and other Special Alloys. Working from customer drawings Kutz has done a wide variety of jobs ranging from steel and alloy oxidizers, industrial furnaces, process skid systems, pump skids, metering skids. Our welders are certified to AWS D1.1, 1.6 and ASME Section IX.
